I've been hearing a lot these days about how much homework Middle Schoolers get. I listened to Beethoven Symphonies when I studied in college. My favorite Bros. Grimm story is probably The Bremen Town Musicians because every time I tell it, it finds new depth and meaning. As a full time musician, I travel a lot. It's my favorite thing in the world - traveling and playing music. Someday a furry friend will be at my side. Some weeks I perform once, some none, and some weeks up to 12 times! Everyday, I see a performance in the world - the harmonies the dissonances - and discover myself in an improvisation rich and diverse, and all I can do is my best all the time and take naps.

Great questions! All my trombones come to me with three parts, made and ready to assemble: a mouthpiece, a slide, and a bell. If I could consider myself a musician, a comedian, and a storyteller all in one, I think my dream would come true! My next performance is right now for everyone with an inner kid who is awake.
Thanks Zachary! Some of my earliest memories are of my mother performing "The Rainbow Connection" in American Sign Language at elementary schools in Lincoln Nebraska where I grew up. I didn't choose her "instrument" but she certainly showed me the way!
